Ride with Bob is the follow-up to Asleep at the Wheel's history making and Grammy-winning Tribute to the Music of Bob Wills, released in 1993. Acting as the "host" band, Asleep at the Wheel welcomes some of today's most diverse artists, reflecting a range of styles as widely varied as those associated with western swing: Shawn Colvin & Lyle Lovett, the Dixie Chicks, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Willie Nelson, the Manhattan Transfer, Dwight Yoakam, Clint Black, Reba, Vince Gill and on and on.
